TAKE - IN TIPS

When you bring in your [pre-loved] items to give another gal the opportunity to [love] them just as much, you may have a few questions on how to get started. Check out these tips to see how to bring in your goodies for consignment! 

CHECK IT OFF...​

  1. Give us a call beforehand, just to make sure we are accepting!

  2. Consider the season...​​

    • Spring: February - April

    • Summer: May - July

    • Fall: August - October

    • Winter: November - January

  3. Double check for...​

    • stains​

    • pilling or excessive wear

    • trendy within 3 years

    • excessive pet hair

    • other damages (missing buttons, holes, etc.)

  4. Put your items on hangers!​

  5. Prepare for Transport​

    • Be sure all buttons, ​zippers, snaps, closures, etc. are fastened correctly to ensure proper functioning. 

    • Check for

      • underarm stains

      • rings/makeup stains around the collar

      • wrinkles (steaming fee may apply)

      • missing pieces (belts, collars, etc.)

      • odors of ANY kind

  6. ​​To be accepted, clothing must be in ready to wear condition!​ 

HELPFUL HINTS

  • Items must be less than 3 years old, unless they are classic vintage (greater than 20 years old)

  • Fun Fact: GAP brands print issue date on the tag, so you can know the exact age!

  • We are happy to return hangers to consignors by request.

  • Your clothing is more likely to sell the better condition it is in.

  • Please launder your items within a weeks time of bringing in to ensure a fresh scent.

PER OUR CONSIGNMENT POLICY​

  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT DIRTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS​.

  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT ITEMS IN TRASH BAGS, PLASTIC BINS, CARDBOARD BOXES, OR TRANSPORT TOTES.

  • A STEAMING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO A CONSIGNORS ACCOUNT IF ITEMS ARE BROUGHT IN WRINKLED.
